 Evan Whited founded TAD Technologies in 1996 and merged into Hi-Tech Gate Systems in 2005. After many years in the business he knew there was a need for good reliable service in the Gate Operator business.  Soon after, he introduced the custom wrought iron gates and fencing.  Desiging each one custom to fit the need and desire of the customers.  Evan has 18 plus years experience in electronics, Design Services, and Fabrication.  Evan Whited studied Structural Engineering at UTC  finally focusing on Computer/Electronics Engineering and Engineering Management at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. 
Evan also attended Chattanooga State for Autocad and Programing Ceritications.  At this time Evan holds 26 different electronic, computer, networking, software, and design certicates including his MCSE,  A+, Network+, and many from the Gate Operator Industry, such as: Linear, Hy-Security, Viking, Elite, Oracle, American Access Sysems "AAS" to name a few. 

 Carthell Higdon is a Project Manager with Hi-Tech Gate Systems. He joined our team in 2008, and brings 30 plus years of experience in code compliance, project management, and construction coordination and Fabrication.

Prior to joining Hi-Tech Gate Sysems, Carthell worked with Raines Brothers as a Project Superintendant.  While with the firm he was responsible for the oversight of major projects thoughout the tri-state area. 

 Clay Sharp joined Hi-Tech Gate Systems in late 2007 as a Fence Installer.  Clay is currently training as a Project Supervisor to take on a stronger role in the Gate Operator and Electronics Repair side of the business as well as a continued lead role in fence installation and design.  

 Coby joined Hi-Tech Gate Systems in late 2015 as a Laborer/Fence Installer.  Blake is currently training as an electronics apprentice to take on a strong role in the Gate Operator and Electronics Repair side of the business. 

 Caleb joined Hi-Tech Gate Systems in late 2016 as a Laborer and electronics apprentice.  Caleb is currently training to take on a strong role in the Gate Operator and Electronics Repair side of the business.  Prior to joining Hi-Tech Gate Systems Caleb honorably served our Country in the United 
Marine Corp. 

 Alexis joined Hi-Tech Gate Systems in 2012 on a part time basis as a Office Administrator, while continuing her education at Northeast Community College on a Full Scholarship.  While attending college Alexis excelled very quickly and graduated with multiple degrees in late 2014 and early 2015.
After graduating Alexis has taken on a bigger role with Hi-Tech Gate Systems as Office Manager and Assistant Job Estimator and in invaluable in her Contract Management duties.  
 

 Shirley joined Hi-Tech Gate Systems in 2016 on a part time basis as an Accountant and Financial Adviser,  she helps manage the day to day financial activities of the business as well as Job Contracts. Prior to working with Hi-Tech Gate Systems Shirley worked 16 years and retired from the "EPB", Electric Power Board of Chattanooga, where she was a Industrial Billing Manager.  Prior to working at the EPB, Shirley worked 23 years and retired from The Chattanooga Gas Company as a Billing Department Manager.
